why I want a wife (Vonny)
While I was reading this essay, I wondered why Brandy wrote this essay? It seems like she was complaining to her husband and the world. The wife that she wanted was the wife that almost all men expected. In third paragraph, she said that she would like to go back to school; however, she had to take care all the household chores, her children, and her husband. This situation happens to many people in the world, it is not necessary school. Sometimes, a wife would like to go out with friends, work outside the house, or go to school, but she is tied to her responsibility toward the household chores. Most husbands would like the house to be clean, all the laundry to be done, and the meals to be preapared once they get home from their jobs; however, they did not consider if the wives have jobs outside the house. Even though, the wives work outside the house, their husbands still expect them to do most of the household chores. In this essay, Brandy wanted a wife that can do all the household chores while still working to support the house and still be passionate toward her sexual needs. In my opinion, the wife that Brandy wanted is not exist in this world. It is her imagination of what it would be like for her if she has no burden of the household chores while still be expected to be passionate by her husband. I think many wives in this world sometimes imagine how wonderful it will be if they have wives that Brandy suggested on her essay.
