response to Yuki
I have the same thought with Yuki. The author tries to tell us messages that make us what is a family, and what is the value of our lives. I recognize that the value of a family. However hard our lives may be, our family is only the fence that can protect against all odds. However, loosing a member of a family is the most distressed in our lives. In the novel, Young Ju's father left from the family. her mother and she lost their father. I wish they would take care of each other more closely. Anyway, we have to recognize the value of the family and we have to take care of each member of the family. I imagine that what the story would go on if Young-Ju's father left them. the ending will be more happy than now. I really want to see the more happy ending. I think most readers want the immigrants' success in America.
