Response to three essays(Yuik Suzuki)

The common between three essays I could find is that the expectation for men and that for husband are so different. In other words, being ideal men and being ideal husbands are so different. For example, earning much money than their wives may be expeted for men by women, but being good husband does not necessary need it(to earn much money than thier wives). According to Adler essays, she infered that those two expectations for each men and husband are different, in the sentence:"How many presidents of Fortune 500 companies get to do that?(pp.459)". I am pretty sure that those different expectation could triger the divorcing problems. Women who expected their husbands to earn much money or get high status in society, whereas they, husbands just fullfill the expectations for husband such as helping households, and spending a lot of time with their children. Therefore, the definition of ideal men totally depends on what each women demand for men, as it were, their housbands. There would no ideal husbands for women, just like that ideal wives do not exist. In my opinion, however, I think ideal wives could be defined from the different view of the meaning marriage. For example, when I consider the reason why men want to get married, most men seem like to look for the place for their relieves for fatigue after working. If wives were out when men caome back to their houses, what do they think of the meaning of marriage? I really think of the meanings of marriage.
