I like daisy’s opinion, she wrote, “I notice the sense of relief for Ju, Joon and her mom after Apa left. In a sense they build a strong bond between each other even though they have to survive without their father, for example, Joon works at Kinko’s, Young Ju helps them financially by tutoring, her mom are working as full time worker at the restaurant.” I really agree on her way of describing Young Ju family’s situation. I also think that they feel safer than past. They have to do harder working everyday than past but they have a happiness and comfortable. I also agree Young Ju decided to remain in America. I think her father will hit and angry again even he lives in Korea. After her father go back Korea, I think young Ju’s family more friendly each other. Young Ju and Joon tried to help her mother financially. Joon also work to help her family. I think he is better than his father. I hope. I also feel the unity of family in this book. Their life is hard and tough but their happy because of them. This is why family is more valuable than anything else.
