Anthony's response to "A step from Heaven"

In "A Step from Heaven", the author believed that when she come to United States, all the things will change better than ever. The writer mentioned that her father and mother feel very excited when they are talking about the immigration to U.S. I have the same experience as them. I have never been to United States before I came her for study. I have been noted to study aboard since I was in the first year in the high school. At the first time, I know that I will go to U.S. University; I had a fixed-feeling about this. I used to feel how my life in United States is. The impression of United States that give me is that it is a freedom country. Everyone can get liberty there. In United States, everyone speak English. As the result, my mother wants me to learn English. She want me to join the course that I can get improve of my English skill, for example, toefl, SAT, conversation class. However, those course make my high school life very hard. I hated their, and begin to hate learning English. I want to escape from this. After I gurate form the high, I'm worry about my future; there is one way for me to go, United States. I think I had the same situation as Young Ju. I can understanding that how hard and difficult when a young girl immigrate to new place which there has different speaking language and cultures. As for young Ju, when she is told that the whole family will move to America which Young Ju believes it’s a place like heaven where she can meet her grandfather. However, when she arrived in America, everything she dreamed is totally different. She realizes that American is not a haven anymore.
