Why I want a Wife(Yuki Suzuki)
The concept of belonging to the classification of "Wife" shook me much. As Brandy described in her essay, wives who keep track of the children's doctor, iare sensive to my sexual needs, and so on. Wives are treated as the people or machines who(that) satisfy their husbands desire, described in her essays. I think that Brandy described many households to crinic the common recognition of Wives themselves, rather the word "wives(wife)" itself. In her essay, she mentioned that wives could be replaceble for another one if husbands need. Then, what is the relationship between husband and wife? ,and what is the meaning of marriage? Those questiones came up with my mind.
She implicitely questioned us about the meaning of marriage, I think. There would be something that shapes the marriage. Some may say that is love, and forgiveness, but others may say that should be money. I think the real answers do not exist, because there many types of marriages and kinds of something that shapes their marriages. The only thing I can say about Brandy is that she is against the marriage to support her husband just like staying in home all day. That is her position. In my opinion, I would like my wife to stay with my children in home, because the time to spent with family is my marriage.
