____In Daisy’s response, she states that she does not agree with author’s father’s idea that Mi Gook is where everyone can easy to get rich. I agree with Daisy’s opinion because in our reality live, we can see lots of immigrants work very hard and just for surviving in the United States even though many of them still cannot afford medical insurance or college tuition. Why the United States still the first choice for immigrants? I thought maybe because they believed that they can easier to success or pursue their dream in USA like AnNa’s father. I also believed that USA offer more opportunities for immigrants to success than their home countries; however, race, language barrier and lifestyle make immigrants difficult to merge into American’s lives. Immigrants need to spend more time to pass through these barriers in order to success or become rich, and so far just a few proportions of them can dream come true. We can see most of them still work hard on their low position jobs.
____I think if I want to become an immigrant in the United States, then I can expect many difficult challenges in front of me. For some people, stay in the United States may not an optional choice because of war or political issues. However, it is optional for me, and my parent will glad to see me stay in my home country because they can easier to see me in few hours drive than 24 hours fly trip. But, for now, I need to get my degree as soon as possible, and also try to meet more friends in the school. After that, anything is possible in the future.
