In the story, Young Yu has to learn about English. His Apa want her to study in the American Kindergarten where she learn some new science she was born. In her mind, she think her new kindergarten teacher, American, is a witch who like to eat the bad child. When I was young, I also have this concept as her. It is hard for children to learn something new from his daily life. Actually, I am not good at English, because I think learning the foreign language is not an easy job, especially at the beginning. It is very hard to start to learn a language if you didn’t know a little bit. In my experience, I was afraid when I was the first day of kindergarten. On that day morning, my mother took me to the place where I had never been there. Moreover, I know none at there. Then, my mother said she will leave and came back in the afternoon. I really remember that the word she told me when she left. “Don’t naughty, listen to the teachers who are very nice.” However, I feel very afraid and uncomfortable. I had same thought as Young Yu. I thought the teachers are the bad guys, and they will hurt me and unkind to me. As the result, I can tell none. I remember this forever. I can’t believe that how brave Young Yu has. She tried to answer and learn the new language, English. She did a really good job on her first day. However, I did not do well on my first day at the kindergarten. I cried all day long until my mother came back in the evening. I had spent a week to get used to study in kindergarten without crying. I think I have to learn from Young Yu.
